Give yourself the gift of
Meditation and Mindfulness

Learn meditation and mindfulness practices that can help you:

- Live a more sane lifestyle within our stress-inducing culture
- Feel more content and less frazzled
- Focus more effectively
- Have more energy during the course of your day
- Avoid making hurried decisions you’ll later regret
- Feel less “stressed out” overall

Some comments on the classes:

"Betsy has a way of taking the mystery out of the word 'meditation.' She presents a simple format that can assist anyone to begin meditating immediately. Her class is fun and interesting - the hour flew by each week. She allows for quiet time as well as group interaction. I would highly recommend it!"

There are no classes scheduled at this time, but
please check back soon.

None of these classes and workshops are intended to serve as substitutes for group or individual therapy. If you are experiencing considerable difficulties in your life, please consider entering therapy in addition to attending the workshops. I will be happy to talk to you confidentially about this possibility if you feel it would be of help, and I may be able to refer you to a therapist in your area.

The classes and workshops will provide you with information and practices that have the potential to greatly improve your quality of life. It will be up to you to implement them and make them a part of your life. In order to realize the benefits, you will need to do the work. I cannot wave a magic wand to reduce your stress. Rather, I will be your guide and facilitator.

The time will come
when, with elation,
you will greet yourself arriving
at your own door, in your own mirror,
and each will smile at the other's welcome

and say, sit here. Eat.
You will love again the stranger who was your self.
Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart
to itself, to the stranger who has loved you
all your life, whom you have ignored
for another, who knows you by heart.
Take down the love letters from the bookshelf,

the photographs, the desperate notes,
peel your own image from the mirror.
Sit. Feast on your life.
