Bring the Stress Reduction Path into your business or organization, and help your employees:
~ Focus and communicate more effectively
~ Be more productive without rushing
~ Feel more content and less frazzled
~ Feel less "stressed out" in and out of the office
~ Enjoy their work and their lives more
~ Realize reduced levels of stress and increased life satisfaction
To this end, I offer workshops and individual consultations, including face-to-face individualized meetings and e-mail correspondence. I place high value on follow-up and personalized attention.
I incorporate the following components into most of the workshops and follow-up consultations:
~ Meditation instruction and practice to increase awareness and focus and decrease stress
~ Body awareness practices to reduce physical as well as psychological stress symptoms
~ Practical mindfulness exercises to help reduce stress, gain focus and clarity, and prevent wasteful rushing
~ Time management techniques
~ An overview of how stress affects our bodies and minds
~ Plenty of group discussion to clarify individual needs and concerns and share personal experiences
~ Ideas for developing a personal mindfulness practice that can be helpful both in and out of the office
I offer workshops of different lengths that can be conducted at your office. I can tailor these workshops to fit your organization's schedule and needs.
Some options include:
- A two-hour workshop on basic mindfulness practices. This includes an introduction to mindful stress reduction practices, recommended stress reduction activities (including brief meditations), and handouts to help participants incorporate these practices into their daily lives. This introduction will be followed up via e-mail communication with participants for at least one month. E-mail communication includes reminders and additional stress reduction tips, as well as a forum for participants to discuss their experiences.
- A six-week course, meeting for 1 - 1 ½ hours each week. This course allows participants to practice between meetings and to receive continuing in-person support and reinforcement for the duration of the six-week period.
- An introductory workshop followed up with individual consultation opportunities at your work site and one or more subsequent workshops.

Some comments about my classes:
"Betsy has a way of taking the mystery out of the word 'meditation.' She presents a simple format that can assist anyone to begin meditating immediately. Her class is fun and interesting - the hour flew by each week. She allows for quiet time as well as group interaction. I would highly recommend it!"
